Dog Crates. Wednesday , February 07th , 2018 - 16:41:48 PM
Studies reveal that pet dogs help control their owners stress levels. Since a number of dog owners are working people, dogs need to be well looked after in the owners absence. A large number of indoor pet dogs are housed in crates. Most of these crates are lightweight, durable and can be easily carried when necessary. To facilitate a good life for pets a number of owners leave their dogs at dog day cares, friends and family members houses. This prevents pets from being left unattended during the day.
There are many types to choose from today. Among so many choices, stainless steel still remain very popular. Dogs get nervous in dark, poorlyventilated crates. Steel offer the highest amount of light and the best air flow. They are not as flexible as some of the other crates on the market, but having a welllit, wellventilated crate can offset any flexibility issues. Dogs feel more secure when they can see what is going on around them, when they dont feel boxed in. Thats where stainless steel have a definite advantage.
A residual scent left by dog waste may encourage the dog to resoil the crate. Soft dog crates, on the other hand, can typically be disassembled machinewashed. This is generally more convenient than handwashing, although one should keep in mind that fabric is more likely to stain as a result of dog waste than plastic or metal. On that note, aesthetics are one more reason many dog owners prefer soft dog crates. Wire cages have an institutional look that some find unappealing, and plastic models tend to lack style.
