Dog Crates. Tuesday , February 06th , 2018 - 14:27:59 PM
Dogs have been the favorite companions of mankind for generations. They have been documented in the Egyptian age and have been faithful hunters and guides for many years. Depending upon a dogs breed and pedigree, a number of people prefer to keep a pet at some point in life. Dogs may be indoor or outdoor pets. In order to keep pets indoors most people prefer wire dog crates, which are considered a practical option. Dog crate is an enclosed box type chamber in which dogs are enclosed for transportation to different areas or dogs are enclosed for security purposes.
A good idea is also a crate bumper, which is very similar to a cot bumper. Puppies have an instinctive desire to keep their sleeping area clean. Using a crate takes advantage of this and helps your puppy learn to control his bladder between trips outside. He will have accidents, of course, but by using a dog crate as a bed and combining it with a regular toileting, feeding and play schedule, toilet training will be quicker and less stressful for everyone involved. Just remember never to use the crate as a form of punishment.
Dont force the dog into its crate right away rather, lure it in with treats or toys. Even once the dog has entered the crate, you should not seal it in immediately. Wait until the dog seems comfortable in the crate you want this space to be a safe haven, not a prison. By the same token, dont use yelling, hitting, or other negative conditioning techniques to try to train your dog. Dogs, like people, will always respond much more effectively to positive reinforcement. You must also be as consistent as possible in maintaining your rules.
